Master of the Skies
French native Gregory Martel is a Master Falconer who has worked with more than 60 raptors since 2010. He trains and flies hawks, falcons and owls for a variety of purposes, including hunting, falconry abatement (bird control) and education. He created Masters of the Skies in 2014 to educate the general public about birds of prey and falconry, and he has been working as a full-time falconer and educator since 2016. He also offers interactive, “hands-on” falconry experiences.

Intro Falconry Experience at Wequassett Resort
Hands-on Experience with the birds! The Falconry Intro will teach you how to fly a hawk to and from your gloved hand while learning about falconry, the sport of Kings.
- Participants must be at least 9 years old. Young children under 9 may register as observers, free of charge.

75-90 minutes at 11am
Extended Falconry Experience at Wequassett Resort
Hands-on Experience with the birds! The extended Falconry class will teach you how to fly a hawk to and from your gloved hand while learning about falconry, the sport of Kings. Once the hawk has been flown and fed, you will get to meet and fly a barn owl.
