Explore Pleasant Bay Aboard "The Friend"

Climb aboard one of the world’s only solar-powered marine vessels for a one-of-a-kind educational adventure on The Friend.

This 37-foot, fully accessible pontoon boat offers a comfortable and quiet cruise with near-silent engines, making it ideal for observing the wildlife, of Pleasant Bay. Designed for all ages and abilities, this engaging “edu-tainment” tour combines relaxation with fascinating insights into the local ecosystem—perfect for nature lovers, families, and curious minds alike. Reserve your seats with concierge today!  $35 per adult and $30 for ages 12 and under.

Pleasant Bay Community Boating is a nonprofit organization committed to providing boating, marine education, and environmental stewardship opportunities for residents and visitors. They proudly serve the entire community, including individuals with physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities, as well as under-resourced families and at-risk youth.  Wequassett is honored to partner with Pleasant Bay Community Boating in support of this meaningful mission, and to help create memorable, transformative experiences for all participants.
