Imagine lining up to serve that signature fluorescent ball while the smell of a nearby barbecue seeps into your senses. At Wequassett, our raised viewing terrace and cookout spaces make the tennis and pickleball courts a perfect location for a competitive match or laid back party.
With three Har-Tru tennis courts and custom trellises for privacy, you’ll have the opportunity to take lessons with our resident pro — who will also gladly fill in for a game of doubles — arrange tournaments, and gather family and friends for a day of round robin play. At the end of the night, hop in the nearby jacuzzi and pool for some much-needed relaxation, or enter the pro shop for quality equipment, and resort activities and gifts.
Pro Rob Parker and his team offer a well-rounded selection of summer clinics designed for players of all levels—from beginners to advanced competitors. These sessions provide a blend of skill development, strategy, and enjoyable social interaction.
Players can choose from various specialized clinics tailored to different skill levels and interests. For men looking to kick off the morning with energy and competition, the “Grip & Rip” clinic delivers fast-paced, live-ball action. Women newer to the game can build confidence and technique in a welcoming environment through the “Ladies Social Clinic,” while more advanced players sharpen strategy and competitive edge in the “Ladies Advanced” and “Ladies Competitive” sessions.
Mixed clinics that foster co-ed camaraderie and challenge are also available. For a fun, interactive experience, the “Mixed Round Robin with Coaching” blends match play with real-time feedback, helping participants apply tactical skills in live scenarios. For those curious about the increasingly popular sport of pickleball, the “Mixed Intro to Pickleball” clinic offers a great opportunity to learn the rules, movements, and unique nuances of the game—including the famous “kitchen.” Whether you’re seeking skill development, great workouts, or a vibrant social scene, Wequassett’s adult tennis clinics provide something for every player.
Wequassett’s junior tennis program offers a fun, skill-building experience for young players of all ages and levels. Designed to foster a love for the game while developing strong fundamentals, the program features a variety of engaging clinics and camps throughout the summer.
For the youngest participants, clinics focus on introducing basic racquet skills, hand-eye coordination, and movement through playful drills and games. As players grow, instruction emphasizes proper technique, footwork, and fundamentals, all taught through engaging, game-based activities that make learning enjoyable and effective. Older juniors ready to advance further can participate in more intensive Junior Team Camp that include stroke development, court positioning, strategy, and match play—perfect for those looking to sharpen their game in a more competitive setting.
Whether new to the sport or preparing for higher-level play, every junior enjoys a rewarding and active tennis experience at Wequassett.
