The Sill

Drawing inspiration from the myth that Henry David Thoreau, New England’s most prolific writer, would snatch pies cooling on his neighbor’s window sills, Wequassett Resort and Golf Club’s The Sill is the latest addition to the resort’s premier food and beverage offerings.

Black cursive text on a white background reads "the Sill," with "the" in small letters and "Sill" in large, flowing script.

Designed by Taniya Nayak of Taniya Nayak Design, the modern, inviting space features a soft palette of whites and grays paired with wood tones and soft greens inspired by the essence of Cape Cod. The artisanal grab-and-go bakery and espresso program will focus on quality craftsmanship and fresh ingredients, tucked into a quaint nook alongside the signature Forbes Five-Star twenty-eight Atlantic restaurant and the tavern-style, intimate Thoreau’s. The picturesque outlet serves breakfast pastries and beverages such as coffee, tea, draft cold brews, and juices.

A tray displays lemon poppy cruffins, everything bagel croissants, and plain croissants on parchment paper with handwritten labels on the glass at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club.
