Cape Cod is one of the best places in the world for shellfishing, and Wequassett is excited to offer our guests a hands-on opportunity to learn how local clams are cultivated and harvested.

Overview

The one-hour sessions are led by Captain John on our private beach and are available to in-house guests and members only. Guests will be able to gather the local delicacy themselves, with session times determined by the tides, and all equipment provided. Guests are invited to borrow jackets and Wellington boots from our Barbour borrowing closet located at the Front Desk, so no packing is necessary. A great outdoor activity for families and couples alike!
