Thanksgiving - Make it a Week

Celebrate the season of gratitude with a weekend full of coastal charm and festive flair. The holiday begins with our Homecoming Party on the Garden Terrace, an evening of live music, lite bites, and spirited cocktails to toast the start of Thanksgiving weekend. On Thanksgiving Day, gather for our Grand Buffet Dinner, a lavish feast of holiday favorites, then head down to the Outer Bar to catch the game with friends and family. On Friday, the indulgence continues with our Second Serving Brunch, followed by the return of Jazz Night on Saturday night featuring the crowd-favorite Funktapuss. We wrap up the weekend with our joyful “Grateful to Gleeful” Sunday Brunch, a festive finale to a holiday spent in good company by the bay.

Ring in the Season with Sparkle & Fireworks

The first weekend of December marks the start of the holiday season at Wequassett, filled with festive experiences and joyful traditions. Step into the magic of the Mrs. Claus Cottage and join our Gingerbread House Parties, where families can create sweet holiday memories together. On Friday, December 5th, the season officially begins with our annual Tree Lighting ceremony honoring our Community Impact Fund recipients and celebrating the spirit of giving back. The festivities continue on Saturday with the third annual Merry Market, spread across the property with local artisans, live entertainment at the Outer Bar, and delicious offerings from the Red River food truck and Hog Island with seasonal brews. Guests can also enjoy food and drink at the Outer Bar or opt for a more formal dining experience at Thoreau’s or twenty-eight Atlantic. The night concludes with a spectacular Fireworks display over Pleasant Bay, kicking off the holiday season in sparkling style.

Dive headfirst into a whirlwind of frosting, sprinkles, and pure imagination. Imagine a land where gumdrops are trees, licorice are fences, and windows are made of sparkling sugar crystals. Join our gingerbread house parties and challenge your creativity, spend time with the family, and sip on some hot cocoa. Festive cocktails will also be served as well as a buffet for the little ones.
